Call for Board Nominations

The Heart of America Affiliate of the Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) is excited to issue this call for nominations to fill open board positions. Nominations will be open through April 24, followed by voting between April 27 and May 10. A link to the nomination form and details about the open positions are provided below.

Marketing Chair
-- Evaluates annual dues structures and makes recommendations to the Board to the total membership.
-- Ensures current membership roster is updated and in good standing through the HOA Nursing Network system.
-- Maintains all social media sites pertaining to the Heart of America Affiliate.
-- Maintains and updates the HOA Nursing Network account at least every two weeks
-- Appointed term is for two years.
-- Attends 4 out 6 or 60% of meetings while in office.

Education Chair
This is a new position that will be created subject to approval of the revised bylaws. An exact description of the position is still being created, but will include responsibility for overseeing the continuing education credit process for applicable events offered by HOA ANPD. Nominees must be current nurse planners and/or have the support of their organization's lead nurse planner to submit for Nursing Continuing Professional Development credit.
