We hope you can join us for our June HOA ANPD affiliate chapter meeting. Our CE topic will focus on successful grant writing.
Our CE topic will be presented from 3-4 pm and chapter meeting to follow at 4.

Peggy began her nursing career as an advanced practice nurse and manager of the Brain Tumor Institute of Kansas City at Research Medical Center. After receiving her PhD in nursing, she joined the faculty at UMKC, receiving tenure in 2007. Roles at UMKC include Chair of the Faculty Senate, Director of the Faculty Center for Excellence in Teaching (FaCET) and serving as the Interim Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. Her areas of funded research focus include quality of life for patients with various health conditions and the impact of treatment(s) along with outcomes from creative teaching strategies. She is an American Nurse Scholar, an editor emeritus for Jannetti Publications, a UMKC Alumni Achievement Award recipient, and retains a position as emeriti faculty in the School of Nursing and Health Studies at UMKC.
